
Turmeric Galangal Balls
- Yield: 3 large balls 1x
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cooked grated fresh turmeric
- 1/2 cup cooked grated fresh galangal
- 1 cup dates (soak in warm water to soften for 5 mins if not using medjool)
- 1 cup desiccated coconut
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1 cup almond meal (leftover from making Almond Mylk)
- Pinch of salt
Instructions
- Place all in a food processor and blend until fully combined. Shape balls into the desired size.
Notes
You can reserve 1/2 cup of the coconut and use it for decoration if you desire
For the turmeric and galangal I tend to batch cook by boiling a large amount when I make Jamu, the strained meal is what I use to make this
