
Rosemary & Sea Salt Mixed Nuts (Vegan, Gluten Free)
Description
Rosemary since ancient Greek times has been linked to good brain health because it helps to strengthen our memory. Rosemary & Sea Salt Mixed Nuts make a perfect afternoon snack or simply something to place on the dinner table whilst playing entertaining games. Poker anyone?
Ingredients
1 cup Raw Cashews
2 cups Raw Almonds
1 tbsp Olive oil
1 tbsp Onion powder
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tbsp Finely crushed sea salt
3 tbsp Fresh rosemary sprigs
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil on a low heat in a solid base pan
- Add the dry ingredients, half the salt and stir until well combined
- Add the nuts and toss until fully coated
- Keep moving around the pan on low heat until the cashews start to toast and gently brown
- Add the remainder of the salt to finish
- Remove from the pan and allow to fully cool before transferring to a serving bowl
Notes
- These Rosemary & Sea Salt Nuts store well in a glass jar for 2 weeks
- Feel free to mix up your nut flavours, I also enjoy pecans, macadamia and walnuts.
