
Raw Protein Bars Recipe (Vegan, Gluten-Free)
Description
Looking for protein bars for the family that are quick and easy and don’t even require baking? This recipe is a fantastic go-to. Easy to revise to your family’s taste preferences – you’ll find yourself making these over and over again! These are great to use for dessert too!
Ingredients
40 gm crunchy peanut butter
50 gm vanilla plant-based protein powder
20 gm coconut flour
70 ml plant-based mylk (almond works well)
30 gm cacao nibs
1 tsp vanilla essence or extract
1 tsp cinnamon
pinch of salt
Instructions
- Line a small baking tin with parchment paper making sure to leave edges to grab (a square tin is best)
- Combine all the ingredients in a bowl
- Place mixture into the lined tin & press firmly to shape
- Place in the fridge to set for 1 hour
- Remove the solid block of bars from the pan by grabbing onto the parchment paper edges
- Cut into bars of your desired size
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge
Notes
Feel free to play around with different flavoured protein powders such as cacao
Feel free to work with different plant mylk and nut butters
Toppings can be pressed on the top of the bar to create different textures
Store for a week in the fridge
