
Raw Chocolate
- Yield: 24 pieces 1x
Ingredients
- 170 gm Cacao
- 80 gm Coconut Sugar
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 250 gm Cacao Butter
Instructions
- Put about 1 inch of water in the bottom of a small/medium saucepan
- Over medium heat bring the water to a simmer
- Meanwhile, combine all the dry ingredients and set aside
- Place the butter in a bowl large enough to sit on top of your saucepan
- Place the butter in the bowl on top of the pan over the simmering water
- Melt the butter – stirring occasionally
- When the butter is fully melted gradually add the dry ingredients stirring constantly until well combined
- Pour the melted mixture into silicone molds – small shapes are best

After you add the dry ingredients into the butter and the chocolate is well combined feel free to add optional flavourings to your mould
Popular flavours include; Chili flakes, hazelnuts, macadamia nuts, cherry, orange or mint
Try plant based edible oils to get the flavourings eg orange oil
You can also sprinkle your chocolate with chunky sea salt after they are poured in the molds
Silicone Molds are available at most kitchen baking shops
You can make a chocolate bar which can be cut into slices by lining a deep tray with cling wrap and pouring the chocolate in and letting it cool until set
