Cauliflower Rice

  • 1/2 head cauliflower
  • 1 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp mixed herbs


  1. Grate the head of the cauliflower using a cheese grater into a bowl leaving just the stalk
  2. Place the grated cauliflower ‘rice’ into a pot with a tight fitted lid and add one cup of warm water & the mixed herbs
  3. With the lid on allow to steam for 5 minutes
  4. Remove from heat and transfer the rice to a serving dish


  • Instead of mixed herbs swap for saffron or turmeric
  • Stir through stir fry garlic & mushrooms to the cooked rice
