1 bag of mixed greens or spinach

2 tbsp of almonds

1 tin of drained mackerelĀ 

Ā½ tin of drained cannellini beans

1 jar of mixed olives and peppers


  • Place the mixed leaves into a mixing bowl
  • Add on the remaining ingredients reserving the fish
  • Combine in bowl and transfer to plate
  • Add the drained fish on top


  • If your tinned fish comes in extra olive oil you can use this and reserve a little for dressing, you can also buy a lemon to add juice to the dressing
  • Bags of mixed nuts and seeds are also very complimentary to adding texture to this dish
