
Broccoli pizza base

- 1 head of broccoli
- 1 egg
- 2 tbsp nutritional yeast
- black pepper
- sea salt
Instructions
- Heat oven to 160c
- Grate the head of the broccoli, (it’s ok to use most of the root) into a bowl so it resembles rice grains
- Steam the broccoli grains for 1-2 minutes until soft in some hot water
- Place the steamed broccoli with liquid into a muslin cloth or a nut mylk bag and squeeze until all the liquid is removed
- Combine the strained broccoli in a bowl with the remaining ingredients
- Line a round (9 inch) tray with baking paper
- Spread the broccoli mixture evenly over the tray
- Bake for 10 minutes or until lightly browned
- Top with favourite ingredients
