
Baked Cinnamon Pears Recipe – Vegan and Gluten Free
Description
This recipe ensures you get a wholesome breakfast that’s customizable and nutrient-dense, but if you feel you wanna turn this into a healthy snack or dessert it has the versatility.
Ingredients
- 4 pears Deseeded and halved
- 1 cup Coconut water
- 1 tbsp Cinnamon
- ¼ cup Sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup Cacao nibs
- 2 tbsp Raw honey
Instructions
- Preheat the oven
- Place the deseeded pear halves in a large mixing bowl
- Sprinkle with the cinnamon
- Pour over the coconut water
- Combine with a spoon until the pears are equally coated
- Pour into a casserole dish and bake for 45 mins (the steps before can be done ahead of time)
- Remove baked pears after cooking time or when they’re soft to touch with a fork
- Pour into a serving bowl and sprinkle with the remaining ingredients and drizzle with honey
Notes
- I typically serve this dish with coconut yoghurt
- To increase the protein content you can sprinkle with more seeds or nuts
